We have so much to be grateful for on so many levels. We certainly have downside to modern life, but when playing those up we negate what we have that we should be grateful of. So man y convince come int he day and age. we can turn on the faucet and out comes running water no hauling up from a well or pumping up from the ground and caring it to where it will be used. Instead instantly like magic the water is there where you planned it and need it. Additionally not only does the water flow freely you can get it hot too. Taken for granted today but what a convince not have to heat buckets of water over a fire to heat your water. I know I try to be aware and grateful every-time I shower. I have a shower, it is reliable I have hot and cold running water etc. I also try to be aware of being grateful of being able to shower, actually perform the task. It is not like I have been inured or have or had a disease it is awareness that we are different and grateful for where I get to benefit. I.e. with the good health to be able to perform the task. Gratefulness requires awareness of what one has in a positive light . When preforming house hold tasks I prefer not to feel burdened with the task but to look at it as a privilege to have a house that is mine to take care of. There are plenty of folks I would not want to trade places with loosing their houses ans the like. So I am happy to have a place to clean, and able bodied enough to clean it. This is not to say I don’t sometimes think how nice it would be to have the cash flow to be able to hire the cleaning out. There is nothing wrong with a little dreaming. And if you can afford the luxuries this life has to offer doing so in gratitude will make it all the more fun! Your time relaxing somewhere exotic like a five star Kolata hotels would be a deeper experience by far. So be aware and be grateful for what we have and not focus on the lack of things
