When Businesses Should Find a Law Firm

Posted by: admin  :  Category: Business

Regardless of the city in which you live and or practice business, having access to or better yet a positive and stable relationship with a lawyer or law office is extremely important and can make the difference between your company or organization’s success or failure. From Chicago to New York to the desert and Phoenix, lawyer based guidance is essential. This is frequently an overlooked aspect of many businesses, though it is also one of the most fundamentally important, especially when establishing your initial paperwork, including articles of incorporation. Many non-profit organizations will make it a top priority to have a lawyer on the board of directors and this is a very wise decision.

Many business theorists claim that the two most important professionals that are part of any company’s early development are a lawyer and an accountant. These are excellent words of advice and for the business owner or partners who frequently have their minds on quality assurance and customer satisfaction , would do themselves one of the biggest favors possible by ensuring they have both of these positions filled.

The reasons businesses profit from having a lawyer don’t end with the establishment of their paperwork and legal structure. In addition there are numerous situations and occurrences that take place through the life of the business and throughout the fiscal year that demand legal attention from a professional. And waiting to have a solid relationship with a law firm until you are in a legal bind or are being sued is never a smart decision and guarantees you are likely to make the wrong decision in finding the right lawyer for you. This is because you are responding to a crisis and don’t have the time luxury of researching and interviewing multiple firms. In addition, the lawyer you hire will not have the benefit of working knowledge and a previous working relationship with your company. It is best to find your lawyer before you open your doors.

Singapore Mystery

Posted by: admin  :  Category: Business, Travel

The trip was planned to take place somewhere out of time, someplace where there was no address, and there was a promise that there would be no memories to take along, when things were over.  This was a promise because of the things that I once saw, and the things that I can’t forget over there.  In these times, we sometimes forget even how we woke up that morning before it’s even time for lunch.  Other times, it’s impossible to forget the way some things feel on the tongue.  I could have been just as easily entertained with a side order, but this was turning into the whole meal, and the main course was still so very far away.

His reputation was still rather impeccable, even after all this time, where there were surely some truths about him that made their way around the literary circles.  I would try to do my part to keep it as spotless as possible, if for no other reason than we did not want to remember it any other way.  It would be simple.  Meet in a Chinese Restaurant first, then discover the news in our particular disciplines, and then perhaps, see something of Singapore, but only if there was time.  Secretly, I sensed that there would of course be time, but that was only because it was an obvious side effect of our meetings.

When he was talking about his work, that is when things would start to open up for me.  There were worlds that were bright green and red coming from his tongue, and I could never see his eyes, so could not describe the excitement, although the manner was certainly of someone who was excited beyond measure.  The biggest impression still was and is one of mystery.  I don’t know how he managed that for so long, and never gave a clue that would ever reveal himself.  Perhaps he had nothing to reveal.

Management, Motivation and Collective Goals

A successful manager will gather together a group of employees, they will have the ability and the know-how to select qualified people who while are diverse, will all support one another.  These aspects of an office and those who work within it will enable people to offer support and encouragement when working on group projects, or in other works, when working towards shared goals.  It is important for each person to realize that while they all may have attending the same employee training, everyone is different and will respond as such, with different views, opinions and ideas.  Every job I have now, is compared to my fifteen years of working in a theatre company.  We were a repertoire company, that traveled quite a bit, and all got to know and to truly care about one another over the years.  Not many jobs I have held, have had nor exhibited the cohesiveness of that team of actors.

In Los Angeles, many a management training program was held in the acting school I was attending.  Executives and managers took part in the classes, working with the group of actors who too, had known each other for many years.  The managers experienced what I did first hand in the theatre company, and that is that a group of people who care about each other, and care about the project-the end goal.  And although there may be conflicts, as actors are filled with drama and passion, they never once stop motivating and supporting each other.  The managers questioned the instructor and the actors, on just how they accomplished this.  And it is simple, the end goal and the individual were both considered important.  You will not have a successful show, when there is not trust and support guiding the way.  Many business and corporate companies are learning this today, and the results are incredibly positive.

Excellent Customer Service in an Automated System

Posted by: admin  :  Category: Business

While excellent customer service perspectives and intentions seem to be based on simple respect and concern for a client, as technology progresses and continues to make advancements in communication and the way business is conducted, philosophies and approaches to customer service  are also becoming more diverse. With different structures to businesses and various automated systems, the best ways to attract a potential or serve a current costumer are also up for debate. A basic example of this is based on whether or not it is easier and more efficient for a client to interact with an automated phone system or to speak directly to a human on the other end of the line. One of the more popular beliefs regarding these options is that a choice is given to the consumer and if the automated system is not serving their needs they are able to connect to a person. Now more than at any other time in history are questions such as these affecting professional views on excellent customer service. And with a continually shrinking global market, businessmen such as  Steve Barbarich are aware of structural differences to businesses, though they remain strong that the fundamental aspects of excellent customer service remain rooted in the satisfaction of the consumer.

As in the past, strong costumer service skills originate with the first meeting between business and consumer. It remains a guaranteed that an initial helpful and friendly face will help to create a positive first encounter and this will usually dominate the course of the rest of the service or purchase transaction. Every member of a company’s staff, but most importantly those that deal directly with the customer, should be aware of the most important questions a customer could ask and have in their immediate knowledge an appropriate and informed answer. Staff people that do interact with customers should always be willing to answer questions and consider this a an essential aspect of the service. Consumers are always aware of a staff person who is simply putting in their time and those who are genuinely interested in assisting them with their questions and purchases.

Steve Barbarich and His View of Customer Relations

Posted by: admin  :  Category: Business

Whenever one buys an item or a service online, there may be apprehension.  After all, one is sending their money or giving their credit card information to a stranger, in hopes of getting the item, or the quality, that is promised.  This can cause many people to miss out on either selling or buying, something they want or need to sell and buy, due to the factor that one really just does not know for certain what one is going to get for their money.  It is a different form of commerce and trade, one that in the coming years will surely only continue to grow.

So how does one know that they are dealing with reputable people, either sellers or consumers?  This question arose years ago, when Steve Barbarich bought a spa over the Internet.  He had those same concerns and apprehensions that everyone has, but unfortunately for him, those fears were realized.  When he purchased the spa online, he was not informed about the size, and unfortunately it would not fit through the door of his home.

When he called for assistance, the customer service agent replied in brief and uninformative answers.  Basically, he received no help, and no concern from the company he was dealing with, the company in which he had given his money.  This created the financial burden of knowing that one has spent money on something that is of no use, he had to figure out what to do with the massive bit of porcelain and acrylic sitting in his front yard.

So with his experience on the one end of bad customer service, he decided to start his own company.  A company that would ensure that the products they sold were what people wanted and expected to have delivered, and one that would ensure the utmost pride in customer service and customer relations.   Especially in today’s economy,  people are expecting to get what they pay for.  And that is exactly what one will receive when they are doing business with Barbarich.

Shopping for big ticket items

Posted by: admin  :  Category: Business, Home & Garden

When shopping for an item that costs a little more of your savings than your basic trip to them all, it’s important to comparison shop. Anything that costs more than a month’s worth of salary needs to be thought about considerably.

The internet is your best tool for comparison shopping. If you are shopping for anything from a television to a hot tub, you should start your search for the perfect one on the internet. You would never buy a house without first having it inspected, so why would you buy any other big ticket item without an inspection or a little bit of research.

If you are looking for a television, there is no way to know what you want these days. First thing you should decide is what size of television that you want. Do you need a fifty five inch huge one or just a small one to watch in your kitchen while you are doing the dishes? Next you need to decide what kind of technology you want to use, do you have High Definition channels or a satellite dish, and you need to make sure you find a TV that is compatible with your needs.

It’s all about meeting your needs, no matter what you are shopping for. Just go ahead and type a product into any search engine and a price grabber should pop right up and do the comparison shopping for you.

Also consider buying whatever big ticket item you are looking for online as well. If you can find a great price and a trusted website, you may just want to go for it. Say you are shopping for a hot tub. Choosehottubsdirect.com has a great array of tubs at great prices and has a reputation for providing excellent customer service. As long as the source is reputable, go for it.

Just make sure you track your purchase and keep all contact you have with a company on record just in case there is a problem in the future with your purchase.

You don’t have to get a patent right away

Posted by: admin  :  Category: Business

Inventors, idea people, if you have come up with a stellar idea to change the world and make it a better place to be in, you should protect that idea right? Well, truth is that you don’t have to file a patent immediately if you come up with an idea or develop a product.

That is good because it allows for an inventor to test the market and see if the market responds well to their idea.

The only downfall of not getting a patent right away is that you may have to deal with people or others who will imitate your product.  But, patents are quite expensive so you might not have the funds to get one right away. If you are willing to get a patent lawyer they will certainly tell you the ins and outs of doing business like this.

Another good resource is the book by Steven Barbarich titled, “The Complete Manual on How to Make Money from Your Inventions and Patents.” The book has useful tools and help, advice from someone who has been there and now knows the right way to go about making money off of your own ideas.

A patent has what is called a lifetime. There are points in a patent when they are more or less valuable. And it is good to note that a patent does not do the enforcing for you. If you think that someone has infringed on your patent you will have to take them to court. And with how much attorney’s fees cost plus the fact that you might not win, it’s a lofty risk to take.

Getting a patent should in the long run help with the marketing of your product. But you should know that they are in no way full proof.  Inventors beware
