How is it that we find forgiveness? We speak of forgiveness as being a virtue. That being able to forgive is healing, but what if we never got to forgiveness because we never judged? For there to be forgiveness there has to be judgement. If I have not judged a behavior or action as bad or wrong I have no need to forgive. To forgive the person doing the forgiving comes from a superior point of view. I am better than you therefore I have the ability to pass judgement on you and then can conclude that you are wrong and then forgive you. I contend we need to work toward teaching that acceptance is the accepted behavior and that forgiveness should be reserved for the self. I.e. I forgive myself for passing judgement on someone else and thinking I can forgive them. The height of arrogance would be the idea that I have the ability to judge you and your behaviors. We could be creating a world of acceptance instead of judgement. Where understanding there are difference between us and that is OK, that those differences are not something to be judged and then forgiven. We can take on this thinking where ever we happen to be in our offices, at temple or at a Mauritius luxury hotel. The movement away for tolerance I believe to be important. Understanding that the subtle or overt act of judgement isn’t ours or our business. We can relieve ourselves of a lot of stress and tension by acceptance. Acceptance equals understanding – understanding there are differences between us where tolerance equals judgement – lack of understanding that there are differences and the belief that my way, my beliefs are right and other beliefs are wrong. Can we focus on acceptance? Can we move toward understanding? I think do however I think we need to move away from tolerance too.

We have so much to be grateful for on so many levels. We certainly have downside to modern life, but when playing those up we negate what we have that we should be grateful of. So man y convince come int he day and age. we can turn on the faucet and out comes running water no hauling up from a well or pumping up from the ground and caring it to where it will be used. Instead instantly like magic the water is there where you planned it and need it. Additionally not only does the water flow freely you can get it hot too. Taken for granted today but what a convince not have to heat buckets of water over a fire to heat your water. I know I try to be aware and grateful every-time I shower. I have a shower, it is reliable I have hot and cold running water etc. I also try to be aware of being grateful of being able to shower, actually perform the task. It is not like I have been inured or have or had a disease it is awareness that we are different and grateful for where I get to benefit. I.e. with the good health to be able to perform the task. Gratefulness requires awareness of what one has in a positive light . When preforming house hold tasks I prefer not to feel burdened with the task but to look at it as a privilege to have a house that is mine to take care of. There are plenty of folks I would not want to trade places with loosing their houses ans the like. So I am happy to have a place to clean, and able bodied enough to clean it. This is not to say I don’t sometimes think how nice it would be to have the cash flow to be able to hire the cleaning out. There is nothing wrong with a little dreaming. And if you can afford the luxuries this life has to offer doing so in gratitude will make it all the more fun! Your time relaxing somewhere exotic like a five star Kolata hotels would be a deeper experience by far. So be aware and be grateful for what we have and not focus on the lack of things

More and more research done by those in the medical and healthcare community show there are far greater dangers in drinking for women. All females in every age bracket demonstrated in a recent study that brain damage is a high risk. They might be subsuming the same amounts and types of alcohol and at in the same time periods, but the risk still remains. As a result, alcohol abuse intervention has increased for women and not so much men.
Besides the risks associated with the usual dependence on alcohol, women must endure far greater consequences for their drinking habits no matter how mild they might be. Brain damage, cancer, especially in the breasts, and liver and heart disease are a couple of the detrimental side affects of drinking for women. Shrinking of the brain and problems associated with it, such as hurt mental and memory skills, also affect women more than men. Alcoholism intervention has thusly risen in importance for women who do not just drink socially but depend upon it.
In the American Journal of Psychiatry, a study was performed to test this theory of women’s brain shrinking from alcohol consumption. Doctors from the National Institute of Alcohol Abuse demonstrated how these damages are specific to the female gender. The reason for this shrinkage comes from the fact that brain cells are dying out due to the drinking of alcohol.
Part of the reason doctors are worried is that such shrinking might be related to Alzheimer’s. while the brain shrinks in everyone as they age, alcohol especially exacerbates the problem. Now more than ever, a careful scrutiny is necessary for women because of this recent data. An addiction treatment center can provide all the care needed to help people to curve their habits. They often employ the latest information from the medical community to fit their programs to the specific requirements of their patients. With the threat of dementia more prevalent, they will no doubt use this information to the best of their capabilities.

It was hot and muggy and Sue had an umbrella open all the time to protect alternately from sun and rain and as we looked up we thought we were in jolly old England again looking at Big Ben but it’s called Rajabai Tower and it chimes every hour on the campus of Mumbai University. It soars 260 feet and has a spiral staircase that is closed because either the stairs are decrepit or people fling themselves off the tower, and is full of stained glass and oriental art. At one time the clock tower played something like fifteen songs, including “Rule Britannia”. We didn’t even know about it but apparently when you ask the desk at the hotels Mumbai India claims they shrug. Well, there really is much to see here.
Like the Prince of Wales Museum near the Gateway of India and where we took a Victoria (not the lingerie shop) but that’s what they call a horse drawn carriage. Sue looked longingly at the horse then at me so I guess we’ll be going out on one but we had really come to see the museum, not the Bombay Natural History Museum next door. The Prince of Wales Museum is a stunning vaguely European Gothic-like structure with definite Mooring influences of the style with a big white almost Russian white onion dome. It has art from Tibet and Nepal, very rare and valuable, and bronzes from Tibet and artifacts from India that go back four thousand years. It is most known for the assemblage of mini paintings from all over India.
Mumbai though is just a tidal wave of humanity, the most populous city in India with over thirteen million people, a real sensory delight of honking horns, smell of curry, obscure alleys and byways, and wild pulsating markets in this exotic city.

Kettering is getting a facelift. Different projects are underway in the British town that involve a cleaning up of the environment. One of those projects has been under the care of the volunteer organization called Natural Ise. Those who love nature, made up citizens of Grange and the Ise Lodge estates located close to the business and Kettering hotel district, are taking it upon themselves to clean up the area surrounding the Ise River, including the river itself.
When the environment and the river are both cleaner, the area is nice for the people who live in the area and for those travel through on holiday. The parks surrounding the river are beautiful and the people of Kettering have taken to making sure that is stays that way. A week ago, more than ten people volunteered picking up the trash and the rubbish along the banks and in the river using boats and dinghies along the water.
The clean up took place from the bridge at Deeble Road and worked up the river to Warkton. One of the volunteers stated that throughout the summer, many children on break from school are responsible for littering that collects along the river. This is an area that is popular in Kettering for those out for a run, or a dog walk or a bike trip along the banks, and the trash takes away from the natural beauty. The group formed after a talk given by Dr. Robin Frost, that concerned creating safer environments for communities along the River Nene Park Region.
Frost implored the people of Kettering that now was the time to clean up their river and parks. Throughout the month the volunteers plan on conducting surveys relating to the biodiversity of the plants and animals along the river, as well as further conservation efforts. They plan to restock the river with fish, and to set up boxes that will capture insects and species of birds for matter of study and then re-release.

One of the eight largest cities outside London is Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England. This metropolitan borough boasts a large industrial conglomerate that greatly enhances the economic status here. It is an ancient city dating back more than 13,000 years and has had tremendous growth in the last couple centuries. Iron and steel are the major industries, with coal mining also a big economic contributor. From the black coal and cold, hard metal to high-end department stores and posh boutiques with outlandish designer labels and price tags, this all makes up Sheffield.
With over two million trees, more trees per person than any other European city, there is over 61% greenspace here. The numerous parks, woodlands and gardens make this a green paradise and an ideal home for many species of wildlife. Cricket, golf, climbing, skiing, basketball, rugby, snooker, ice-skating and ice hockey are some of the popular sports with talented athletes and avid, devoted fans. The many modern facilities and arenas give ample availability to all. In 1991, the World Student Games were hosted by Sheffield.
Music is extremely prevalent with many famous names and bands getting their start here, such as Def Leppard and Joe Crocker. There are fabulous museums, orchestras and choirs for your enjoyment. Visit the Lyceum and Crucible Theatres and let yourself be drawn into the comedy or tragedy of the current production by the talented and dedicated actors, or visit the art galleries. Several films, plays and documentaries have been based here. So much to see and so much to do.
Whether you are here for business or pleasure, your stay long or short, Sheffield hotels offer you the comfort and relaxation you are looking for. The staff is friendly and helpful, the amenities many, the buildings themselves historic. And of course you will want to partake of some of the most delicious food around. There is nothing boring about Sheffield.

Indigenous art is the art produced by people that are native to the land where they live. Like the North American Indians of the United States and Canada, the Aboriginal of Australia, the Khoisan of South Africa. The work indigenous people created through out history was mainly utilitarian or decorating utilitarian objects. Although there are images painted on rocks and etched into rocks. Now these have no obvious purpose to the modern observer like ability to store goods or carry water. But these must have been a means of communication, perhaps simply I was here, directions to a certain place, markings on migratory and trade trails. In many cases the exact meaning of these markings are unknown and may never be revealed. The utilitarian objects were made out of necessity historically. Then as the introduction of outsiders to indigenous cultures the making of utilitarian objects changed to objects of interest to the outsiders for trade for goods of interest to the indigenous people. Trade grew as means of different transportation developed and populations grew creating greater demands. In the Victorian era another shift occurred with the creation of many middle class people, the idle rich, who could spend time traveling simply for the curiosity of it. As this grew indigenous peoples began to recognize the market for souvenir goods. This is where new designs, styles and color uses have come in challenging old traditions as the crofters find new markets for ever increasing demand. Today indigenous art can be found all over the globe from Zuni fetishes in 5 star hotels Sydney gift shops to Australian Aboriginal clothing designs in New York boutiques. These abilities to make and market the goods help keep and economic life for the indigenous artisans and keeps the traditions of crafting alive. The down side can be said that the work has been compromised for commercial exploitation. Not sure if that is true but the work would have evolved anyway, certainly these economic factors have been of great influence no doubt. South Western native Americans create a lot of jewelry that is sought after the world over. Pieces are made on the reservations and sent all over the world to. Baskets, woven blankets and pottery are also very popular economic trade items. The design of these goods has changed as well. Sizes and shapes of pottery that was never produced are now made for the tourist. Work can be found on the reservations and bought from the artists to shops near there to retail outlets on the other side of the world.

Sailing the blue sparkling waters of the Mediterranean is an adventure and fun. Sailing off the coast of Turkey, the north African cost, Greek Isles, Crete, Sisile, Italy, the Rivera, Monaco, France, Spain Morocco and more offer endless scenery. 5 star hotels balearics are a wonderful place to relax and recharge on your sailing adventure. These islands in the western Mediterranean near Spain. Having fun and sailing is a great way to get time to yourself meet new people and have quiet star filled evening of sky watching. The warm waters of the Mediterranean are ideal for this type of adventure vacation travel. The Greek harbor of Vathi is beautiful. A new marina is completed and starting to be used. One should note the Meganissi ferry dock nearly in the middle of the marina this is not likely to change and you need to be aware so to plan appropriately when there. The ballasting rocks all about the edge are said to be inconsistent and in some places only bows-to mooring is possible. This is made a bit more complicated as the water is murky here making it difficult to see the bottom. The North Mole is safer with a deeper depth and made from concrete blocks not rocks. Watch yourself near the western most point of the bay there appear to be submerged rocks. Remember there are new Turkish regulations for yachts entering the country be sure to brush up these before going. The number of yachts has increased dramatically in the Mediterranean over the past few years. Particularly in the French region. A few harbours and marinas have extended the breakwaters to provide better protection to sailors in the area. There are pontoons arranged about as necessary and marine reserves have been established. Europe is having yacht fever as more and more yachts are launched into the waters of the Mediterranean. Bigger and bigger yachts keep appearing on the waters. These yachts need to go somewhere eventually and they seem to concentrate along the French coast where marinas are budging at the seems. This demand is driving costs up all over the place. Fuel, mooring fees, docking slips extra. Some marinas charge by the season high season the most expensive, mid season more moderate pricing while in the low season prices are at their lowest.

North West filmmakers were screened at the film and digital media festival of Chester ,England. Ten short films ranged from a documentary about prisoners attending a patchwork and quilt making course, to a four minute clay animation which were followed by a panel discussion at the Screen Deva event. Screen Deva is Chester’s very own film and digital media festival. All around Chester there will be digital media projects by local artists and outdoor movies being shown in Chester’s local parks.
Last year’s success, helped this years bigger and better program. It included 18 feature length outdoor films, which were screened in the park and at many other unusual venues. Even the Chester Hotel participated in allowing screening in the lobby of the hotel. There was a 48 hour mass participation film challenge, there were wonderful opportunities for budding filmmakers where they got to create and showcase their work. Screen Deva has created a fantastic opportunity to embrace an emerging artists of media and bring forth and enjoy indie and arthouse films in an outdoor cinema setting.
Panelist were shown films upstairs at the Screen Deva Studio. They watched Kate Jessop’s ‘When the Telescope Came’, an animated tale based on a poem where a woman tries to stop the stars from coming into her house. Martin Talbot’s ‘Northern Cowboys’, where singers battled it out at a talent show in Blackpool to win a trip to Nashville and a documentary from Fiona Collins about prisoners and quilting. The panel answered questions form an audience of over 40 festival goers and they discussed their own journey’s from being a first time filmmaker to their now global fame and also offering valuable tips. I’m heading off to the interactive exhibition with is staged downstairs at the Scree Deva Studio. I keep thinking that maybe I should fill the screenplay that floats around in my head all the time. What, now that we have a legitimate Film Festival.

The goodbyes were sad and lasted for what seems like hours, but I finally got on the bus to Chester. I made reservations at a Chester Hotel for a few days because I though it would be cool to check out all the Roman History. When I arrived and checked into my room, I went off to investigate the museums and run some other errands.
Chester does have a lot of cool Roman stuff. Roman gardens with artifacts with descriptions to go with them and a bunch of quaint little museums. I really like the garden though, it was peaceful, more peaceful than the rest of the city. I had to leave the peaceful garden because I needed to find a notary. I needed to copy my passport and ID to start my Irish citizenship application. There was one not too far from the garden, but it was closed. So, I had to walk way up to Hoole, a small town north of Chester, approximately 2 kilometers. I had a hard time finding it because the sign was so not what it looked like in the phone book listing. But, at least they were open.
I headed back to Chester and bought some cheese from an indoor market that was actually a local farmers market, but inside instead of outside. I picked up a loaf of bread and cranberries to eat with the cheese. I found a place just outside of town, a little woodland between two roads which offered shade and quite. My bread, cranberries and cheese seemed like a good combination to me at the time, but put all together, it’s not as good as it promised to be. I noticed I wasn’t alone, there was a tent pitched behind some trees and brush, barely noticeable from the road. I though I’d push off my disappointing meal to whom ever was camping, but as I approached, I noticed trash was strewn all over the place, flies everywhere and it smelled. I decided to back off and leave the area. I got a bad feeling.
It was getting dark, so I headed back to my hotel room for the evening. Being exhausted from all the walking I did and playing with my nieces and nephews last night, I decided I’ll probably sleep in tomorrow.
